Let's talk politics

so the talk recently that isn't weiner related, has been about the GOP hats being thrown in, and the Florida law requiring drug testing for welfare checks. First of all- this will probably be shot down as unconstitutional, but it's a worthy try. Worthy if you aren't willing to actually attack the problem that is. The problem is the system of welfare to start with, the idea that you give people money for no service. I mean- if you really want these people to not due drugs- why not make them healthy and get something out of it? Nobody thinks outside the box. It's- let's prick them and look at their blood. How about this- we have 14 million people out of work, we have a fat country, and we need clean electricity. We have lots of factories that have shut down. My proposal- take a big ass warehouse, put TV's on the walls, speakers in the ceiling, and make the roof lots of windows so clean natural light comes in, but tint them so it's not too bright.
Put a massive electric engine in the middle that charges a generator and a huge bank of batteries. Then- surround this with oh- about a thousand exercise machines like bikes, stair steppers, rowing machines and the such that are hooked up to all kinds of shafts, wires, and bands that work together with a system to turn the electric motor, charging the generator, and filling the bank of batteries with electric power. Excess electric power is shipped out to the electric grid to help power the local area. The building is totally self sufficient. People get to watch movies, listen to music, whatever as they exercise. They lose weight- get healthy- use less of our health care up, and my guess is that they don't use as many drugs. Set a quota for each person of like 8 or 10 hours a week that they have to work out here. Once completing that each week- they get their welfare check. Simple, clean, efficient, healthy. Outside the box.
